Gov. Tim Pawlenty will target deer this fall in northwestern Minnesota.
Pawlenty’s office announced today the seventh-annual governor’s deer opener will be Nov. 6-7 in the Thief River Falls area. It is the first to be held in far northwestern Minnesota.
"Thief River Falls provides an ideal setting for friends and families to come together and celebrate the long-held Minnesota tradition of deer hunting," Pawlenty said.
