Running against federal health-care reform is a Republican tactic this year.
But in no case are the words stronger than from GOP attorney general candidate Chris Barden, a lawyer with experience in the health-care field.
He said that for the first time in memory, the attorney general’s race features a national issue. He strongly opposes what he calls socialized American health care.
While Barden also talks about the 40 years Democrats have held the state attorney general office and some other issues, he always returns to health care.
"The first thing I will do in office is file a lawsuit to defend our health-care system," he said.
