Four remaining debates and forums could decide the winner of the Aug. 10 Democratic-Farmer-Laborite governor primary election contest.
A 90-minute debate Friday night in Mankato, sponsored by Debate Minnesota, is the next meeting of Margaret Anderson Kelliher, Matt Entenza and Mark Dayton.
Next up will be Sunday, when the Twin Cities’ KSTP-TV and the League of Women Voters host for an hour-long debate beginning at 6 p.m. It will air on the Hubbard Broadcasting ABC television affiliates in Duluth, Alexandria, the Twin Cities and Austin.
On Wednesday morning, the three will be joined by candidates of other parties at a FarmFest forum in southwestern Minnesota, where most questions will center on agriculture.
The final meeting of the three is scheduled for 7 p.m. Aug. 8 at the Fitzgerald Theater in St. Paul. The Minnesota Public Radio debate will air live on the network’s news stations and will be repeated at noon the following day.
