What a difference a day makes at the Minnesota Republican convention: This morning started quiet and the main River’s Edge Convention Center room is lined with Mitt Romney posters.
On the second and final day in St. Cloud, delegates are to elect the national GOP convention and other mostly routine business.
The differences from Friday were stark. For one, long traffic lines common Friday were nowhere to be found as fewer delegates showed up by the appointed 9 a.m. start time.
Another difference is that after a Friday when apparent Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney was not mentioned, his signs were all over convention hall.
As delegates prepared to convene this morning, they gathered in small huddles discussing all subjects of politics.
